Level 2 Orff-Schulwerk Teachers Education Workshop

This approved certification course of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association is a 10 day full-time course. Level II is for individuals who have successfully completed an AOSA approved Level I course. Instruction will review Level I techniques with further exploration in the following areas: mixed and uneven meters, harmonizations to include the moving bordun and chord change accompaniments, movement and instrumental improvisation, extended forms, and the continuation of the soprano recorder with the introduction of the alto recorder. Students will teach a short lesson demonstrating Orff process.

Individuals who have previously completed a level at USU may register to repeat that level at a special reduced rate. Registration will be available beginning May 15th if space is still available on the course.
Repeat* Level II by June 10 - $250.00
After June 10, 2021 - $300.00
* Note that anyone repeating the course is subject to all requirements for that level including participation in all coursework, and completion of all homework.
